This was a recipe for a chow mein type dish. Neither excellent & outstanding nor gross & inedible. Just somewhere in between and it tasted like the million other times I've made chow mein. I'm sorry for my apathetic attitude. The problem is I'm starting to dislike Donna Hay. I read her through her recipes with a snarky attitude, "no duh Donna Hay, you want me to cook the chicken through. You don't want me to eat the chicken RAW? Thank you for wasting space in your book clarifying that." I think this just means I need to take a little Donna Hay break. Not a long break. Maybe just not think about it for the next couple of days.
