Ever since I got cable I have been watching a lot {gulp} of HGTV and DIY. I am addicted and can barely tear myself away to do the things I actually have to do.
This is what I created - inspired by this
The beast really puts into perspective the size of the suitcase! I will have to find a sumo wrestlers old luggage so I can make one for Lola.

Oh how I wish you'd gotten a photo of Lola in it. Cute project :-)
Ok, that has got to be the cutest thing I've ever seen! I want to make one for our boston terrier pup! How did you attachthe legs to the suitcase?
That would be the perfect size for Jin!
I bought the legs at home depot (.97!) and they have screws already in them so I drilled a hole, stuck the screw through and then tightened it with a nut. My hubby said I should have put a washer on it too...oops, next time! I have to say that the screws were barely long enough to make it throught the luggage so the nut is barely on there. This was the first try so I will have to make some improvements. Overall, very very easy!
Thanks! I can't wait to make on for Lelu:) It looks so cozy! I think you should sell these!
^ Jessica, I am glad you are going to make one for your doggy! Please share the picture with us so we can post it on the blog.
^ Danielle, I think Jin would look pretty snazzy, snoozzing in one of these!
Very cute! I'm having trouble finding the right night stand so I might craft my own out of a suitcase. (Though there's the issue of opening it to get to the goods- you have to take off the lamp and alarm clock? No good!
Cool project!
