Having a moment by Jen

Having a moment today of being rebellious! I've given up desserts for 100 days and now I can't go shopping for new things at the mall for the month of January??? Wahhhhh! Feeling like I want to give up after only 7 days and I don't even have anything that I need or want to buy except for a new sponge for the kitchen. Would that be considered "consumable"?? I think not! I guess I will have to try to beg one from a friend :o)

Oh Jen, I think if buying a sponge would make you feel a little better, I would consider that a consumable item. Maybe you need to go to the library and get a new book to read? Or see if they have a good movie you can borrow? Hang in there! Jessica

Do you know how many germs you would find if you bought a used sponge? Please go treat yourself to a new one! Maybe I should learn how to knit some wash rags....still requires finding used appropriate yarn. I am going to have to think this one over. You can do it JEN!! Go to the thrift store and find an awesome item that will reinforce that buying used is awesome! ... Juli

I thought we'd decided yarn would be ok to purchase if it's going to be made into something useful. But I really hope that we all agree sponges should be purchased this year. I can't last a year with a little scrappy nasty sponge. Jessica

Ok, yarn is in for dish cloths. Me and my 80 year old knitting gals will get working on that! Oh what there's just me....
