A couple of good recipes...by Jessica

I've made two recipes this week; Steak with Mushrooms & Balsamic Glaze and Grilled Chicken & Vegetable Stacks. The balsamic glaze was fantastic, it was basically just balsamic vinegar, brown sugar and beef stock reduced, then add some cream to it (I used half and half, then added a little cornstarch to thicken). Unfortunately this was the first bad piece of meat from my meat buyers club box. The meat had good flavor but it was really fatty and full of those yucky tendon things that freak you out when you accidentally chomp down on it.

The chicken and vegetable stacks
are exactly the same meal that I make about every other day in the summer. In fact, Zack didn't think the recipe came from the cookbook. I told him the fact that it's stacked and the dollop of mayo/pesto sauce is new.

I have a wish list item. Can anyone out there help me out? I'm looking for a rolling pin. In exchange for the rolling pin I will make you a big bag of garlic & parmesan crackers.

You can borrow mine anytime! I am positive there is no dessert or meal in my book that requires rolling :)

Thanks Juli...I will call you later today. I have been using bottles Jill which works fairly ok. I'm hoping the rolling pin will make it easy. We eat alot of crackers.
