Can you believe I have been doing all of my sewing with these dollar store scissors?!?

Flower girl dresses and all!

These are literally 5 inches long, and dull, verrrry dull...I am ashamed

The main reason for going to Legacy Thrift the other day was to find some used scissors,

but when I picked up mom, she had a (NEW) little surprise for me!!!!

(good job on the re-usable wrapping mom!)

Happy early anniversary present to me ... and Kit?!

I literally was dreaming about these scissors and recently lost a bidding war on ebay for the exact pair...used of course. Thank you Mom and Dad!!!! You two are the best and you can guarantee I will use them...daily!

Now don't die of shock,

Applesauce Oatmeal Cookies

Lettuce Wedge

As Kit would say,

"So weird, but surprisingly good."

Well of course, anything with bacon crumbled on top would be good!

But nothing beats Kit's grilled cheese...a perfect compliment to a giant wedge of iceberg lettuce.
