The Winner....by Jessica

While backstage of the Nate Show, several producers told us there was going to be a prize for the winner of the "thriftiest sister" contest. They told us the prize was good. We really had no idea what it was, and no one would tell us what it was even when pestered.

On the stage, in front of the live studio audience, right before Nate walked out on stage, I turned to Juli and said "So whoever wins is going to split the prize...right?" and she looked at me and said "I think this is something we can talk about later." Nate walked up and we started filming.

Lo and behold I was the winner. Though we do think some factors contributed to the win, and not all necessarily audience voting factors, this is my humble reaction a few minutes after the BIG WIN in the green room:

And, yes for all of you who are wondering...we had decided to split the prize no matter who had won.
