My first encounter with Kombucha was when we were driving in a car and Zack decided to shake the bottle with a such a fierce frenzy that when he took off the lid, it sprayed all over me and the car and I smelled like rat pee for the rest of the day.
Last week my stomach felt wrong. Just unsettled, icky wrong (and no I'm not pregnant). I think that the rounds of antibiotics that I had to take during my cough fest caught up with me and I needed to get my stomach re-aligned.
Zack told me to get Kombucha.
I told him I'd try one bottle of the rat pee.
Guess what? It helped and my stomach felt so much better after one bottle, I went the next day and bought another.
That's my healthy stomach tip for the day.

Ugh I remember the one and only time I drank a kombucha. Good thing I was all stuffed up and had no sense of taste or smell. I do have to admit that it kicked my cold in the butt!
Great tip, Jess! I love Kombucha! It is so refreshing and deliciously bubbly! I understand you not liking it Juli, but anything sour is right up my alley. GT's Superfruit flavor is my favorite.
It has a weird little smell that I can't quite get over. I just plug my nose and gulp it down :-)
I LOVE Kombucha! Mostly because of it's awesome anti-oxident and digestive properties :D I found one by Synergy (?) that has Guava in it, and it's not that bad. In fact, I the premise is that this line of Kombucha is a bit lighter in taste than their standard. Maybe that's worth a try?
Absolutely worth a try, I'll keep my eye out for it next time I need a dose!
I get a buzz when I drink it :)
Yes, I'm a light weight.
Do you really Amara?? I haven't noticed that side effect, I would be MUCH more open to drinking it more often if that were that case!
Ahaha. Yep. Theres like 1% alcohol from fermentation. The first time I had some it was followed my a massage. Nice combo ;)
