Spring Has Sprung?...by Juli

Jessica and I must be on the same wave lengths this week. The dreary weather and the onset of a cold on my Tahoe vacation put me in a funk. I want to go to mom and dads house, jump in their cozy bed and have them spoil me rotten until i just can't take it anymore. Ok, I have a feeling thats not going to happen, maybe I just need a big fat candy bar. Really in comparison to what's happening in the world we should all be thankful that we have a bed to sleep in and hot water. Lets just hope nothing bad happens here, cuz we are going to be a mess! A big grouchy, moody ball of fury.

Well like Jess, the little signs of spring have really cheered me up. I went to spy on the veggie garden and noticed I have broccoli!!! I had almost given up on these little guys but I figured they weren't doing any harm so I let them stay cozy in the veggie bed. Yay for the black thumb turning slightly green! all in all, spring please come and warm up our fingers, our nose and our grumpy moods. We promise we will be nice :) But if it rains again....you're in big trouble!

P.S. Did you notice that I have a knack for taking pictures with the items slightly to the right...weird.

remember how nice mom and dads bed felt??? they always had the most comfortable sheets and the bed was always made so nicely. I remember what a treat it was when you were sick enough to get into their bed and watch tv. My kids roll around in my bed like little piglets, but I always remember realizing it was special and being very calm and gentle.

Jessica, I totally agree! We need to have a lazy day at Mom and Dad's where we stay in our jammies all day and watch old movies all the while they spoil us. Ah....that would be so divine.
