Well, that title just sounds wrong, doesn't it?? Much excitement in the Bode house when we came back from a long weekend to find the beans were popping up!!!!
There are also squash and tomato blossoms!!!
Beans must like a lot of sun as the front edge of the garden bed has popped, but the beans near the fence haven't. I'm just a regular ole Farmers Almanac now, aren't I?
Off topic: while leaving our camping trip in Oregon we saw a sign for fresh eggs - $2 a dozen. WOW, eh??? Fresh eggs around here go for anywhere from $5-$7 a dozen. How much are fresh eggs where you are?

Congratulations!!! Your babies are growing!!!
I buy eggs from a guy at work for $2/dozen....
The post man gets them for $2 a dozen and I get them from him for $2.50. BUT one of my chickens is laying eggs now, altho one teeny tiny egg, isn't going to feed this whole family, maybe buying eggs for awhile....
alright, i'm getting ripped off.
I pay $3 a dozen to my neighbor. He wanted $2 when they were pretty little but I told him I'd pay $3 to stay on his priority list. I noticed that the CSA box I get is offering farm fresh eggs for $7 a dozen. Yikes! By the way, organic free range eggs you can get at the grocery store or costco just isn't the same.
Yes Justine I agree Costco organic is NOTHING like farm fresh eggs! I've got to seek out a better priced dozen though. I'm paying $5.
Down the street from our house $3 a dozen!
