He ate it & he loved Juli

Every once in a while I get a hankering for some good 'ol brussel sprouts. Thats right, I like brussel sprouts. So heres how I make it:

~ Steam the sprouts until they are cooked about half way. Then cut in half or quarters.

~ Chop up the bacon and cook.

~ Add the sprouts and garlic and season, yes cook them in the yummy bacon fat.

~ Add the sliced almonds and arugula at the end and toss.

It warms my fuzzy heart when the hubster utters sweet words like, "I love these brussel sprouts!"

Wallah! Mission accomplished.

brussel sprouts are so good... cotton balls cooked in bacon fat would be good :)

I LOVE brussel sprouts! I usually roast mine in the oven with some olive oil and some spices :)
