Usually when it's too late and I'm tired and I should be going to bed I find myself reading or seeing something that inspires me and makes me decide I'm going to: become a sheep herder, start a hot dog cart business, get chickens, maintain bee hives, become a cheesemaker, etc. etc. etc.
That was me last night. I decided I was going to become a mega large doily rug maker (see picture above). I found myself googling prices for 1/2" cotton rope {how many feet do you think I would need? hundreds? thousands?} and how-to tutorials.
Zack's going to come home one day and find me wrapped up in rope with the world's largest crochet hook...and then about 3 weeks later the kids will have 6,000 feet of rope to play with and I've moved on to learning the art of bonsai. In fact, I always have loved bonsai...
