It's okay that I'm not an Artist....by Justine

I have often lamented the fact that I am the ONLY child in my family that cannot draw or paint. But every Artist needs someone to appreciate their art, right? So I'm coming to terms with that as my role.

I have, like a lot of you spent WAY too much time on Pinterest. And like many of you, have discovered cool websites featuring amazing artists and their work. Here's a couple that has led me to waste many hours "appreciating"....

Spoonflower
-Design your own fabric! and for the non-artistic like me, shop artist's custom fabric collections.

Society6 - Shop thousands of Artist's designs available in posters, framed prints, clothing, iphone cases, etc.

I discovered this Artist, Valentina Ramos at Urban Outfitters and then found out that she sells her work through Spoonflower, Society6 and of course Etsy:

Guess what?!?...You are not the only one that can't paint or draw. I have no skill in that department, I have to sense of scale ot proportion which makes everything just look kooky. I love those prints though! Beautiful!

Justine, you have so many other great qualities, one would never guess you were short-changed in the artistic dept. Afterall, how could those right-brained people make it through life without the assistance of your super left-brained powers and abilities! You ROCK Justine, whether you can draw or not!!! :-D

I beg to differ with you darling, just because you can't draw doesn't mean you are not an artist. Your style, home, and general person scream artist;)

You're sweet Annalee! Guess I hadn't thought about it that way :-) Love your profile pic by the way. Can't wait to meet Luxe. LOVE the name!! Though Joel was disappointed that you didn't have a boy - so you would have Capri-Sun.
