The hubster sort of kinda likes-slash-loves-slash-wants to marry the Avett Brothers (garsh, I admit they aren't too hard on the eyes). So what better thing to do than surprise him with Avett Brother concert tickets?! I went a whole 12 hours before spilling the beans. That is 12 hours from when I clicked "purchase" before the incessant wiggling and goofy smiles gave me away. Ok lets face it I'm not so good with surprises.
The Avett Brothers were great. Wait thats an understatement. They rocked big time! The hubster has been to some pretty awesome shows and he said this was his favorite of all. If you live under a rock and have never heard of them they are a combination of bluegrass, country, punk, pop, folk, rock-n-roll, honky tonk and ragtime. There were a lot of back road kinda looking guys with bushy beards with flannel and suspenders and there was an extraordinary amount of cowboy boots.
They are a clean band with high energy and gives you a show well worth your money. We highly recommend these guys. So go.
