Cup of Love...by Juli

I am not a big coffee drinker, but a girl has
to have a yummy cup 'o something for pete's sake!
This month I have sworn off my vanilla lattes and chai's mostly because of all the sugar in them. Normally I don't feel guilty about my tall-non-fat-no-water-extrahot-chai...but all the sugar, is it really necessary? I think not. Cafe Noto's has been on my no-no list for awhile since they continually make lattes that are a thick gloom of burnt espresso {I know, I am a coffee snob} and the equally gloomy staff {except for Rachel and John of course}. But recently they have been my saving grace with their "Cup of Love". Its a soy latte {no espresso} with honey as the sweetener and a little cinnamon for taste. Sound boring? Think not my friend! It is sooooo yummy!! By the way its even yummier when you have it in a real cup
...proven fact.

Cup of Love is my favorite....BUT there was a period when they but WAAAAYYYYY too much honey it, almost un-drinkably sweet. Have they eased up on the honey?

The drinks there kill me too. I've heard from someone who works there that it's actually Taylor Maid's fault that it tastes burnt so often since they're the ones who roast the beans. Apparently Cafe Noto is supposed to be switching to coffee beans from Oregon. We will see...
Meanwhile, I am drinking pain 'ol soy lattes. No vanilla, no mocha.
I loooove the cup of love too!!!
Next time ask for a soy English breakfast latte with honey and cinnamon. It's basically a cup of love with tea. Yum! I get them all the time!

Oh Marcella if Noto's was open right now, I'd go get me a cup of love with tea...that sounds SO GOOD!
