Make a u-turn now...by Juli

On the way home from meeting last Sunday I was perusing the craigslist free postings here in the North Bay. Sunday afternoons are the best time to score some free stuff due to the fact that weekend garage sales are over and people just put out the leftovers, free for the pickins. So on the way home I noticed a posting for a free hutch in our ghetto little Windsor. Detour!!! With a quick left and then a right we grabbed that hutch in a jiffy! It was a sight to see with the hubster in a suit and I in heels shoving a big 'ol hutch in the little Fox box. But oh was it worth it!

This Mid Century Modern walnut gem is made by Garrison and I think I could re-sell this for a pretty penny...but its too cute to sell! Maybe on my next purging splurge I will let it go...but not yet. As for now I am in love with my little free friend.

Lesson for today...look at the fee section on craigslist with an open mind. You never know what you will find!

I swear Juli, you are my soulmate. A few weeks ago, I nearly made Danny get out of bed at 1am to go look at a free typewriter on someone's lawn that was posted on craigslist. Instead, I fitfully slept till 6am (all the while worrying it would be gone)and took myself there. Unfortunately, it was a dud. But you never know, and that's half the fun.
