Oh No He Dittn't...by Juli

Last summer I received the discomforting news about my screwy back. I was told that I needed to do cardio and stretches almost everyday....yuck...how depressing is that?!? As any depressed woman would do, I ran {cardio people} to buy some proper sneakers. The hubster tagged along for "support."  Being the worlds most indecisive person I himmed and hahhed over which ones to get. A certain somebody said that it didnt really matter which ones I got since I will never wear them anyways."What did you say?" Maybe he was grouchy of the two hour long search for the best sneakers known to planet earth or maybe he knows exactly what to say to fuel my fire. Oh and it did. You have no idea how good it felt to come storming into the house with my little toe sticking out of my well worn sneakers. "Boooyeeaah! What did you say about me never wearing these puppies?!?" He was proud of me and I relished in the fact that I proved him wrong. So yes your tactic worked and I will think of that everytime I don't feel like exercising. Ok, since I am sort of telling on him right now I also want to tell you what else he told me: that I inspire him to workout when I go to boot camp, and that same week he told me my butt looked smaller. Oh yeah that's what I like to hear! Keep it coming baby!
{that is totally my finger sticking out...not the little piggy mentioned above :}
These are the newbies, and it only took me 3 different stores, 3 different trips to Macy's and a lot of reading reviews to come home with these! {FYI, believe it or not Macy's had the best deal for running shoes...plus I used a $20 off coupon!}

haha, ok I have to admit I thought it was your pinky toe, But figured it was impossible since I have a size 9.5 shoe and my pinky toe is not that big, and I know you've got to have smaller feet that me!

@ Mirjam & Annalee - They are Reebok YourFlex shoes. Having new shoes is definitely an inspiration to workout!

Oh my! I just joined a gym for the first time in my life. I think I had a mild anxiety attack before walking in that building and stepping on the treadmill for the first time all by my lonesome self(I think I prayed for an hour for strength to just do it already) Anyway, I've got my eye on these running shoes, in the runner's mag I signed up for to motivate me to learn to run. It's the asics gel noosa tri 7. But since I live in the sticks I can't find a store that carries them I'm being patient til I can get to an actual city to try them on & hopefully purchase my very own pair! I'm glad you found a pair that works for you and glad to hear of you wearing the first pair out -yay!
