#1 Make a Dress...by Juli

Ta da! Laddies and Gentlemen, I present to you {drumroll please...} .... my dress! All in all I am pretty pleased with my vintage-fabric-simple-styled dress. It was easy peasy and I only had one minor flaw {always carefully examine vintage fabric for tiny cuts}. My favorite part are the stripped pockets, its like a little secret hidden away. I admit, I am still a little nervous about zippers, but I was happy with a new technique I tried {just read the zipper package instructions...duh!} Now I really want to learn how to adjust patterns to fit your body a little better. I am short torso-d so I feel like that part of the dress is a little big. What I REALLY want is a dress form. Well, there's always next years 31 before 31...gulp.

Oh and by the way, I am sooooo excited about this brick wall I found in Windsor!

Wow!!! That is SO cute, you did a great job! Now, I'm inspired to try again, I have an awful time figuring out patterns. :)
