Sticky Thai Chunky Chicken Thighs....by Jessica

Okay so that title isnt really the recipe name. This post is kind of random so the title needed to match the randomness. Tonights recipe out of my cookbook was Sticky Thai Chicken. Brown sugar, fish sauce, lime juice, ginger & soy sauce. Cook the chicken thighs in it; it gets really sticky and tasty. Sprinkle cilantro on it and serve with rice and veggies.

After dinner I was reluctant to get exercising. Does sitting on the couch, watching tv and lifting 5 pound weights over my head in a listless manner count? I didn't think so either. So I also got up and did these weird twist moves:

You think that looks like it's not doing anything? Well, me neither, but better than sitting on the couch eating jelly beans which was my other option for the evening. And you know that feeling while you're exercising that you MUST be getting skinnier by the minute? Well, I was feeling that way and I said to Zack "Feel my legs, I think they are getting stronger" and he felt them and said "Yes, you've got strong legs. You gain muscle quickly. Too bad you gain fat quickly along with it too."

It made me laugh so hard I had to write it down so I wouldn't forget it. It sounds mean, but he's being sincere. Once he did all this research on our body types and apparently I've got the envious gains muscle quickly body type. So even with this muscly body type, probably doing the twist half-heartedly for 20 minutes isn't going to help that fat accumulation problem.

and by "envious" I mean to him. I would prefer to have the willowy, lanky, thin body type.

Who would've known that the Hokey Pokey could be such a beneficial exercise routine!?
