Hiking...by Juli

Us Californians are freezing our butts off here, so what better to do than spend a freezing Saturday afternoon hiking! (I know, there isn't even snow...but it was sooo cold!) We had a brave crew that sloshed in the mud and took in the fresh air at Anadell State Park.

Justine even convinced me to run part way...a very short part

Kit and I were comparing our recent Na'pali Coast Hike to our California Hike and we both came to the conclusion that in Kauai the trail to the destination was not very scenic (at least not the one we did), until you reached the destination {see here}. On this hike it was beautiful the whole way. Everything was super green and the cold air was so refreshing. I gotta say we do live in the most beautiful area! All of us on the hike agreed that we need to do this more often (past healthy month). Definitely good for the body and for the soul! Who's ready to join next time?!?

By the way we munched on a new Larabar creation:
Apricot Almond Cashew Bliss
